The Story Behind Legacy Real Estate Network

We have a simple goal - impact the lives of our clients and change the lives of our agent partners. The PLACE.com business platform allows us to do both and we could not be more excited about the future.

I want to start the year by telling you how Legacy Real Estate Network began. Our team name was Bard Group Realty until 2016 when we changed it to Legacy Real Estate Network.

We want to grow our team and make it bigger within the Prescott area, but we want the opportunity to extend it to other towns in the region. The Bard name may have some recognition in Prescott, having grown up here, but as we expanded more regionally and into other areas, it was time for a change.

Why Legacy Real Estate Network? I’ve always been drawn to history and the idea of leaving a legacy for my family. It’s a lifelong goal for me, just like how I’ve received a legacy from my parents and the generations before me.

What does Legacy mean? I see Legacy as leaving something meaningful for the next generation. It can be financial stability: maybe your family never owned a home, and you’re the first to change that. Or it could be someone in your family who is breaking a cycle of poverty or financial struggles, showing the next generation the importance of hard work and perseverance.

But it’s not all about money. It can also be a legacy of culture, a change in family dynamics, values, or tradition. As for me, my bookshelves are full of books that have been passed down through generations. Written in it is the wisdom and knowledge that has shaped me and my family, and I want to share that with my kids and grandkids.

Legacy and real estate. Owning real estate is a right in America and an important opportunity. We want to be here if that’s a part of your legacy. We don’t hide behind the fact that we are a real estate company because we believe the dream of homeownership, which is part of our mission statement, is important to you.
