Are you looking for somewhere new to eat in Prescott? My sister recently visited for her high school reunion, and like many guests from out of town, she had plenty of questions about what to do, what to see, and perhaps most importantly, where to eat.
Whether you’re new to Prescott or simply interested in trying something different, I’d like to share a few of my personal favorite spots.
1. Method Coffee. If you’re in search of a quality cup of coffee, I recommend Method Coffee, located in the Fry Shopping Center on Willow Creek. Their regular brew is consistently excellent, and if you prefer something a bit more indulgent, especially during the warmer months, the blended caramel drink is outstanding.
Another strong choice is Founding Fathers, which also serves up excellent coffee. Whether you’re starting your morning or looking for a mid-afternoon boost, these local favorites are sure to meet your needs.
2. Milo’s, formerly known as The Local. When it comes to breakfast, this has been our go-to spot. Although we don’t dine out for breakfast often, this inviting eatery has consistently delivered a wonderful experience. The welcoming atmosphere and menu of appealing brunch selections make it a great fit, whether you prefer an early start or a relaxed midday meal.
While they serve a variety of dishes throughout the day, it is at brunch and lunch where this restaurant truly excels.
3. Nick’s Feed Your Face. When I’m in the mood for a great sandwich, Nick’s Feed Your Face on Goodwin Street is always one of my top choices. Their sandwiches are memorable, making this establishment a must-visit for anyone in Prescott.
Stepping inside feels like taking a step back in time. The classic charm and atmosphere have remained unchanged for decades, adding to its unique appeal. If you appreciate a delicious meal served in a nostalgic setting, Nick’s is certainly worth a visit.
4. Scouts Gourmet Grub. Another excellent option for sandwiches is Scouts Gourmet Grub on Iron Springs Road. This spot offers a unique selection of sandwiches in a charming, welcoming setting, ideal for both a quick lunch and a leisurely meal with friends.
The inviting atmosphere enhances the overall experience, making Scouts a great choice if you’re seeking something a little different from the usual fare. If you find yourself nearby, I highly recommend stopping in for a meal.
If you’ve got friends visiting or if you’re new to Prescott and looking for local favorites, these spots are sure to impress. Let me know if you try any of these places, or if you have your own favorites!
